Projects
All projects are designed to promote safety for park visitors and to showcase the natural beauty of the quarry.
Thanks to the cooperation and volunteer efforts of village residents and other people, maintenance and improvements to the quarry grounds continue each year.

Be a friend
You can become a friend of the Redgranite Quarry and volunteer your time working on projects in the park. Just fill out a Volunteer Waiver of Liability form. It's that easy.
You can also make financial donations to the park. Because everything is volunteer, 100% of your gift is used by the park.
Activities
Visitors may swim at their own risk. There are no lifeguards on duty at the quarry. Scuba diving clubs find the Redgranite Quarry to be a favorite place for clear-water diving in the upper mid-west. Fishing (and ice fishing) is also becoming a favorite past-time at the quarry, with many species now stocked and ready for some exciting sporting action. Kayaking is also popular. Of course, having a picnic and walking the trail is always enjoyable for any age.
